Dietary Service Supervisor

Cesar Hernandez the Dietary Food Service Director at Broadway by the Sea. He has been employed at Broadway by the Sea since January 2004. He started working in the Dietary Department as a dishwasher back in 1995, and became a cook 6 months thereafter; he was offered the position as a Dietary Food Service Director. He completed Dietary Services Supervisor training in 2002 at Long Beach City College in their Dietetics field. In the time since he started working, he had been encouraged to learn, and grow. He says “Working at Broadway by the Sea has been the most wonderful and rewarding experience of my life! The residents I work for are a delight, and my co-workers are great to work with on a daily basis. I can definitely say that working at Broadway by the Sea has contributed to molding me into a better person. The skills I have learned and developed here are invaluable. I strive to make each day at work, better than the one before. In my role as the Food Service Director, I commit to do my best to provide our residents with a high quality food product and service. I will continue to work diligently to give our residents the constant care and comfort of a home environment. My goal is to show our residents that they have chosen the best senior place in which to live, by selecting Broadway by the Sea as their home.
